Bogle snared in drug sting

MUSKOGEE – Federal authorities released the name of an eighth man Friday arrested this week during Operation Trainwreck.

Investigators said Terry Bogle was booked on a federal charge of possession of a sawed-off shotgun. That is the only charge on Bogle at this time, officials said.

Agents said another individual, Amanda Haney, was detained by U.S. marshals and later released. She was not arrested.

In a related matter, court hearings have been set for the seven other men arrested Thursday morning in the Tahlequah area as part of a major drug conspiracy investigation that has been in the works for eight years.

Shannon Johnson, Shaun Johnson, Lawrence Blue, Orlando Wilson, Dave Ellis Wilson and John Henry Johnson will all appear at a 2 p.m. detention hearing Tuesday, Nov. 24. Jamie Mask will be in court at 10 a.m. Nov. 24 for his arraignment.

All seven are charged with conspiracy to possession controlled drugs with the intent to distribute, distribution of controlled drugs, and drug forfeiture.

Mask will be brought to federal courthouse in Muskogee from the Wagoner County Jail. The other six men were ordered held by the U.S. Marshal Service pending the Tuesday hearing.

Shannon Johnson has retained former District Attorney Richard L. Gray Jr. to represent him. Shaun Johnson will be represented by Robert Ridenour. Blue is represented by Jim Wilcoxen, and John Henry Johnson will be represented by Terry L. Weber. Rex Earl Starr will represent Orlando Wilson, and former U.S. Attorney Roger Hilfiger will represent Dave Ellis Wilson.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Rob Wallace will be prosecuting the cases.

The arrests were made Thursday as local, state and federal lawmen served six federal search warrants related to the lengthy narcotics probe. U.S. Attorney Sheldon Sperling said the search warrants were served simultaneously at dawn.
