Hulbert eyes storm shelter

HULBERT – Trustees Officials accepted consent agendas and handled oral reports Thursday evening during meetings of the Hulbert Public Works Authority and the Town of Hulbert Board.

Mayor George Truitt brought up the possibility of building a 16-foot by 30-foot storm shelter near the Hulbert Fire Department, depending on what the fire department chooses to do as far as expanding its facility.

Board member Ed Beckman asked that other contractors be considered for the building, if possible.

In the fire department’s report, Chief Mark Graham spoke to the board

“We had five medical calls, one structure fire and one motor vehicle accident,” he said.

What’s next
