Chilocco Thanksgiving feed set
The annual Chilocco Alumni Thanksgiving Potluck is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 28 at the Cherokee Restaurant Ballroom, three miles southwest of Tahlequah.
Alumni, descendents of alumni and friends of Chilocco are invited to bring their favorite dishes and enjoy the fellowship to begin at 11 a.m. Chilocco memorabilia will be displayed, and items will be available for sale.
TACO plans Thanksgiving meal
COOKSON – Tenkiller Area Community Organization will hold its annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner at the TACO Building on Mullens Lane in Cookson on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Prices for the traditional Thanksgiving feast are $5 for adults and $2.50 for children 10 years and younger. Everyone is invited.
‘A Christmas Carol’ on agenda
Tahlequah Homeschool Theater Group will present “A Christmas Carol” by Michael A. Youngs, Thursday, Nov. 19 through Friday, Nov. 20 at Crescent Valley Baptist Church, nine miles west of Tahlequah on U.S. 62.
Matinee shows will be Thursday at 10 a.m. and Friday at 2 p.m. There will also be an evening show Friday at 7 p.m.

Lupus Support Group to meet
The Tahlequah Area Lupus Support Group is meeting for people who have lupus or fibromyalgia (or think that they might have lupus or fibromyalgia), and their family and friends at the Tahlequah City Hospital third-floor plaza conference room.
The group meets the second Saturday of the month. The next meeting is Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. The purpose of the group meeting is to provide lupus and fibromyalgia education, support and sharing. The discussion topic for this month’s group is filing for disability.
