Sales tax collections increase

OKLAHOMA CITY – Sales tax collections show an increase in Tahlequah and Hulbert from the same month a year ago, a report from the Oklahoma Tax Commission states.

The report shows Tahlequah with a June distribution of $518,160.75 compared to $526,633.37 a year ago.

Hulbert’s total was $7,614.33 in June, compared to $6,042 a year ago.

In Adair County, Stilwell’s distribution for June was $158,961.62, compared to 4169,250.79 a year ago. Westville had collections of $33,796.44 which is down from $34,275.80 a year ago. Watts had collections of $1,795.69 for the month compared to $2,307.90 a year ago.

Jay, in Delaware County, showed a return of $67,570.22, compared to $88,160.20 a year ago.

Kansas totals were $10,311.11 for June, compared to $13,256 a year ago.

Oaks slipped from $763.09 a year ago to $730.29 for June.

In county returns, Cherokee County’s June total was $524,146.58, compared to $519,990.26 a year ago. Adair County received $54,279.56 after receiving $59,560.25 a year ago. Delaware County’s $228,465.61 total was down from $240,454.02 a year ago.
