TAHLEQUAH DAILY PRESS — OKLAHOMA CITY – Sales tax collections were down in Tahlequah and up in Hulbert for November, a report prepared by the Oklahoma Tax Commission states.
Hulbert’s return for last month was $13,917.94, compared to $8,407.71the same month a year ago. Tahlequah’s total of $495,813.73 was down from $525,100.38 a year ago. Cherokee County showed a return of 510,822.50 compared to $512,827.11 a year ago.
Stilwell’s total for November 2008 was $166,014.37 in Adair County, compared to $157,350.73 a year ago. Watts showed $3,037.50, compared to $2,626.03 a year ago. Westville’s total was $32,337.04, compared to $33,241.55 a year ago. Adair County’s total for last month was $53,747.90, compared to $50,833 a year ago.
Kansas, in Delaware County, had a total of $9,921.88, compared to $9,530.15 a year ago. Oaks had a total of $2,512.08, compared to $846.99 a year ago..
