Drug probe leads to area arrest

TAHLEQUAH DAILY PRESS — STILWELL – A Stilwell man was arrested Friday as a result of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of controlled substances within Adair County.

Roy Brewer, 36, was arrested when District 27 drug task force agents teamed with Stilwell police and an Adair County sheriff’s deputy to serve a search warrant. Brewer was booked into the county jail for possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.

During the search, agents reported finding substances appearing to be methamphetamine and items of paraphernalia. Brewer was released after posting a $12,500 bond.
