TAHLEQUAH DAILY PRESS — OKMULGEE -- The embezzlement charges against former District Attorney Richard Gray were dismissed Thursday afternoon in Okmulgee.
The state had rested during the afternoon, and the defense was expected to begin presenting its case later today. The judge presiding over the case, District Judge H. Michael Claver, dismissed the case before it ever went to the jury.
