MUSKOGEE – Two Park Hill residents have pleaded guilty to federal charges of being felons in possession of firearms and ammunition.
Mark Alden Mongold, 41, and Claudia Marie Moore, 55, were charged earlier this year following an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Violent Crime Task Force. Both were indicted on federal charges last April.
The two are accused of possessing firearms and ammunition after they’d been previously convicted of a crime. Magistrate Judge Kimberly E. West accepted guilty pleas from Mongold and Moore and ordered completion of presentence reports, to be followed by sentencing.
According to U.S. Attorney Mark F. Green’s office, the statutory range of punishment is not more than 10 years in prison and/or a fine up to $250,000.
