Battle of bands to help B&GC;
Boys & Girls Club of Tahlequah is having a Battle of the Bands fundraiser Thursday, Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. at Scooters Music Tavern, located on the corner of S.H. 51 and west bypass.
All bands are welcome. There is a $25 fee and winner takes all. To reserve spots, call Scooter at (918) 822-3284.
Camp cancels group this week
Camp Gray Squirrel is not having its regular play-group this week but will resume next week at a new time from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

Tenkiller Women’s Club to meet
Tenkiller Women's Club will hold their August luncheon meeting at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at the Fin & Feather Restaurant. The program will be “Nutritional Therapy,” given by Julia Glenn, registered dietitian. Cost for the buffet is $9.60.
Reservations may be made by calling Pat Sharp, (918) 457-4419, no later than Monday, Aug. 17.
All area women are invited to attend and, if desired, become members.
