TAHLEQUAH — Monday, Jan. 28

Eastside Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 7 a.m., noon and 8 p.m. at 812 E. Ward.

Much Ado About Knitting will meet from 10 a.m. to noon at the Cookson Hills Senior Housing Activities Building. Beginners and advanced knitters are welcome. Call (918) 456-0421.

Grief Support Group will meet at Grace Living Center Northwest at 10 a.m.

Senior lunch is served daily at the Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Cookson grief support group will meet at 6 p.m. at the Cookson United Methodist Church.

Stroke Survivor Group will meet from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on the second floor in the inpatient rehab dining room.

Veterans of Foreign Wars bingo is at 6:30 p.m. at the VFW building on Choctaw Street, next to Sequoyah City Park.

Cookson Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m., at Cookson Methodist Mission.

Weight Watchers will meet at 9 a.m. (weigh-in 8:30 a.m.) one block north and one block east of Holiday Inn Express on Bypass.

Senior lunch is served daily at the Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Cherokee County Federation of Democratic Women will meet at noon at the Restaurant of the Cherokees.

Where do you think bicycle trails are most needed in Cherokee County?

In the downtown corridor.
Not downtown, because it would be too congested, but on peripheral streets, like Bluff, Downing and College, and Muskogee but not downtown.
On the rural highways mainly in recreational areas, like Highways 10 and 82.
Only in special areas, like parks.
I do not think Cherokee County needs any (or more) bike trails.
