Star Crafters offering free class
The Lost City Star Crafters will have a free-of-charge knitting and crochet class at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at the Lost City Community Center.
Hosted by Tahlequah Chapter 148 of the Order of the Eastern Star, the class is open to everyone. Crafters of all skill levels are invited.

Tenkiller Women’s Club to meet
Tenkiller Women’s Club will hold its March luncheon meeting at noon on Wednesday, March 17 at the Restaurant of the Cherokees.
Jeanne Thompson, author of a new book titled “Cherokee Friends,” will talk with us about it from a historical perspective based on her family. Lunch will be $10, including drink, dessert and gratuity. Reservations may be made by calling Pat Sharp at (918) 457-4419 no later than Monday, March 15.
All area women are invited, and to become members.
TACO to host monthly potluck
COOKSON – Tenkiller Area Community Organization will hold its monthly potluck dinner and meeting at the TACO Building on Mullens Lane in Cookson on Tuesday, Feb. 23.
Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting is at 7:15 p.m. The speaker for the evening’s program will be Tom Jones of the Tahlequah Police Department, speaking on Elder Watch. The public is invited.
