TAHLEQUAH —

A man was in jail Thursday and his victim was in a Tulsa hospital after a stabbing incident at a residence just outside the city limits.

Timothy Lamb, 25, was booked by Sheriff’s Deputy Cody Warren on an attempted murder count.

Daniel Lee Storer, 28, was initially treated at Tahlequah City Hospital for multiple stab and slash wounds, and was later flown to a Tulsa hospital for additional treatment.

Reports indicate Lamb slashed Storer’s right forearm and face with a knife. The facial wound went from the right side of his mouth to his right ear.

Storer also suffered stab wounds to the chest and back.

Deputies were told Storer returned home to find his wife with Lamb. After an altercation between the two men ensued, Lamb produced a knife and started slashing and stabbing Storer.

Storer was sitting in a vehicle in the driveway of his residence when Warren arrived. Tahlequah police officers were also at the location. Storer had his forearm covered in an attempt to slow the blood loss.

Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant Thursday at Lamb’s home, looking for evidence connected to the stabbing.
