The Cherokee County Veterans Council would like to thank everyone who participated in making the 2009 Veterans Day Parade a success. Without the involvement of the community, there would be no parade. All of the participants, including those who contributed financially, showed a true spirit of patriotism, loyalty to their country, and respect for veterans. The number of spectators who turned out to watch the parade, especially the number of children, was very gratifying to the veterans of Cherokee County. Again, many thanks. Let’s do it again next year!
