Tahlequah man killed in Stilwell crash


TAHLEQUAH DAILY PRESS — STILWELL – A Tahlequah man died Wednesday from injuries suffered in a single-vehicle crash south of Stilwell in Adair County.

Shaun Alan Moore, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple injuries.

Moore was driving a 2006 Ford Ranger pickup south on U.S. Highway 59 when it left the roadway to the left and hit a tree.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports state Moore was not wearing a seat belt, and the roadway was wet when the crash occurred 13.1 miles south of Stilwell.

It was reported at 12:15 p.m. and investigated by OHP Trooper Steve Meridith assisted by OHP Trooper Tommy Mullins and Stilwell Fire and Rescue.
