Area man killed in crash

SALINA – A Salina man died Wednesday morning from injuries suffered in a single-vehicle crash in Mayes County.

Todd Kevin Bark, 32, suffered head, trunk internal, trunk external, arm and leg injuries. He was transported to Key Funeral Home.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports state Bark was driving a 1995 Chrysler north on a county road, nine miles east of Salina, when the vehicle left the left side of the roadway and went 65 feet before hitting a tree. It continued rotating counter-clockwise 38 feet before hitting another tree on the passenger side.

Reports state Bark was not wearing a seat belt. The crash was reported at 4:30 a.m. and was investigated by OHP Trooper Derek Humphreys of the Mayes County detachment.
