July 13, 2012

Friday, July 13: GOOD MORNING!

For Sunday's Press, we're looking to have these stories and more:

• Teddye Snell will present the first in our ongoing series of stories looking at various angles of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. (If you have questions about the Act you'd like us to address, email her at tsnell@tahlequahdailypress.com).

• Renee Fite will be touring local parks today as part of a conservation/beautification effort.

• Jean Havens interviewed local American Legion member John "Wes" Benge, who happens to be the new state commander.

Have a great weekend!

What do you think of Sen. McCain's proposal to allow cable TV channels to be sold a la carte (individually, rather than in bundles with a lot of channels no one wants)? Bear in mind some less popular channels could go by the wayside with no bundling support, and that while overall packages should theoretically decrease in cost, individual channels might cost more.

Strongly in favor of a la carte.
Somewhat in favor of a la carte.
Somewhat opposed to a la carte.
Strongly opposed to a la carte.
