BREAKING NEWS: Mother says Kelsey Leach now eligible at Sequoyah

Two months after she was ruled ineligible by the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association, Kelsey Leach is again eligible at Sequoyah, according to her mother, Kay Leach.

Because Kelsey Leach was denied a retroactive hardship, Sequoyah was stripped of its Class 5A slowpitch softball championship that is won in the spring of this year.

According to Kay Leach, it was found that the Leach family does live within the lines of the Sequoyah Schools District and not the Cave Springs district like originally thought.

Leach, a junior who plays three sports, will now be allowed to participate in basketball and slowpitch softball this year.

What do you think of Sen. McCain's proposal to allow cable TV channels to be sold a la carte (individually, rather than in bundles with a lot of channels no one wants)? Bear in mind some less popular channels could go by the wayside with no bundling support, and that while overall packages should theoretically decrease in cost, individual channels might cost more.

Strongly in favor of a la carte.
Somewhat in favor of a la carte.
