TAHLEQUAH — Oklahoma leaders on Friday enacted a statewide burn ban.
Gov. Mary Fallin earlier this week declared a state of emergency in Oklahoma due to the drought conditions plaguing the Sooner State. A majority of the state's counties, including Cherokee County, were already under county-established burn bans, but Friday's executive order will cover all 77 counties.
