About Us

TAHLEQUAH — The Tahlequah Daily Press is a successor to the Tahlequah Pictorial Press, the Tahlequah Citizen, the Democrat-Star, the Star Citizen, the Cherokee County Democrat, the Republican Star and the Cherokee County Chronical.


Our offices are located at 106 W. Second St. (see map) in Tahlequah, the largest city in Cherokee County, located in eastern Oklahoma.


Tahlequah Daily Press is owned by Community Newspaper Holdings Inc., (www.cnhi.com) a company headquartered in Birmingham, Ala.


Our offices are tucked between the Arkansas River, the Illinois River and Lake Tenkiller, providing ample opportunity to cover important events, the surrounding community and breaking news.

Publisher is Charlotte Klutts; Pam Hutson is advertising director; Kim Poindexter is managing editor; and Jerry Harrington is circulation manager.

This question is not for people who have never attended church, nor those who still attend the same church they always did. It's for those who no longer attend their original church of choice. Why did you stop attending your original church?

No longer believe in that church's teachings (either stopped altogether or attend different church).
